For whatever reason, the urge to opine publicly in long form posts and also to share my poetry endeavors and book reviews has returned to me. I used to have a blog up called Digressions which had most of my poems I was comfortable with making public since childhood on it, which I have taken off the web today for the archives. Welcome to Digressions Part Two! I have returned as (apparently) a full-fledged adult.
I don't expect this to be read by many people outside my friends and family, but just in case- I'm a current PhD student in robotics who enjoys writing, literature, poetry, and sometimes movies and TV shows, and has some opinions about current events. I don't consider myself an expert or even close in any of these things, but here I am to share anyway, if only to log my thoughts.
